A weekend with Friends and Family!
We had a lot of fun visitors this weekend! Aunt Wendy, Grandma & Grandpa Stimpson, The Ashtons, The Martin and Malerhab family, and Trace's newest COUSIN LANDON WAS BORN!!!! They are going to be best buds!

So I just realized we are going to be parents in 12 days. Feel free to post any tips or suggestions to help us out. So far the only tip we've been hearing is to sleep now because we will never sleep again. :)

Water Rats
Yes it was a miracle! Yesterday we decided to check out Eagle Island. Its a 555 acre state park thats about 10 minutes from home so we got in our skimmies and went. Kenya doesn't like getting in water so she and Lisa were quite talented and managed to share the tube together while I dangled off the edge and swam. Well the miracle is this: After we had been swimming for quite some time I realized that I had foolishly left the Altima keys in my shorts. Crap! So I pulled them out and sure enough the little electronic opener thing was on them. Dad-gummit! However, after we got home I put them outside in the sun to dry and sure enough - miracle! they work again! Thank goodness for 100 degree heat!
Over the 4th, we went to Lake Lowell. Its near Nampa, normally a 30 minute drive. Well we drove and drove and drove until we were ready to give up. I guess we need to get a map because we never did end up finding the place where everyone goes to swim (which we had driven to twice before ). We finally gave up and just pulled over and made our own beach. It was an adventure of sorts.

Who does the laundry? Mostly me, but the new rule is that he does his own because he says I shrink all his work clothes.

Who proposed? Kody proposed on a hike by the Bountiful Temple. He totally caught me by surprise!
Who has more friends? Kody has more friends that he has kept longer, I probably have more acquaintances
Who has more siblings? Kody has 8 kids in his fam and I have three in mine
Who wears the pants in the family? Mostly Kody but he does put on a skirt every once in a while!
