6.5 Things that all happened last weekend!!

We went to Utah this weekend. It was the Murdock family reunion. We had so much fun! Here are 6 things that happened while we were there. Who knew so much could happen in only ONE WEEKEND! Let the countdown begin!

Number 6 - Lisa dazzled everyone in her stunning new black, white, & gold shirt stopping traffic and looking hot as usual.

Number 5 - Baby trace got a space shirt onezee (i have no idea how you spell that). He is going to love that shirt! He got a lot of other great things from people. THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)

#5 - These two hoodlums were spotted at the reunion. Dina & Bradyn took what Lisa calls a perfect picture and yes Dina we will be happy to sell you the rights to this photo for only 5.95 plus shipping & handling.

#4 We found the original Garden of Gethsemane tree. Pretty darn close anyway! Who knew this was in Utah of all places?

Number 3 - Riley learned not his first word, but by far his most important. We were sitting around the living room when he said, "goll"! It was pretty funny. I'm glad to have a little Stimpson rub off on the little guy!

Uncle Johnny came to visit from Bullhead Arizona! Can you see the resemblance?

#2 - Cute little Jaydee wore pigtails! Kev & Jan let us stay with them at their house. THANKS AGAIN Jan & Kev!

#1.5- As we were getting ready for bed, we looked out the window and saw this salamander. It was just sitting there. I actually am not sure its a salamander but it was a friendly little lizard!

And the #1 thing you won't believe is!..... We shaved Kenya. She looks totally different and finally can leap around without throwing her hair everywhere she goes. She loves it.

Can you belive it? All that happened and more! It was fun!

Hot Dog Casserole Cuisine!

A cuisine fit for a king!

Growing up, my favorite meal ever was my mom's famous hot dog casserole! Its a lot like Shepherds pie. You put in a can of green beans, tomatoe soup, chopped up hot dogs, layered with mashed potatoes and cheese & paprika on top. HMMMM! ITS SOOO GOOD! With the help of my mom, I cooked up this delicious cuisine.

Sarah & the kids came over and helped us devour this fancy feast.
Kenya wished she could have some too! I'm ready for some more!

Craters of the Moon!

Some take the path less traveled...... and end up driving for 5 hours instead of 4! But look what we would have missed: Good ole Craters of the Moon!

When I was little, we always went to Craters of the Moon on field trips. There are hundreds of caves here. It is really impressive.

So, this weekend we went to IF! It was so much fun! We got together with my family and also got to hang out with some friends. On the way back we took an alternate route that goes through Arco and on back to Boise that let us see some really neat places. It was a longer drive but the miles were actually less. One of the places we passed through on our adventure was Craters of the Moon!

We want to come back another day when we can explore. That will be fun!

Four wheeling anyone?

Yes, this is a few months old. But its Wednesday, smack dab in the middle of the week and I'm a bit bored today so I thought back on how fun this fourwheeling trip was with Lisa & I and Sarah & Shawn a few months ago and thought I'd post it in case anyone else out there has the "middleoftheworkweekblues" and wanted something to take a look at! p.s. Lisa hates the picture of her in the yellow cap all bundled but I love it. Isn't she cute!

Also, good news! We are going to Idaho Falls this weekend!! YAHOO!

Memorial Day

My mom told me that my second cousin Matthew McCardell was buried in the Nampa cemetary somewhere. I don't remember meeting him but he died in 2005 at the age of 25 from cancer. Lisa and I went out to Nampa not thinking we would actually find his grave but we did, on the last road in the last street as we were driving by we saw it.

As we were looking around, we also found a Duncan headstone. They lived way back in the 1841, pretty old, but pretty cool!
