Yahoo! Kendra Sue Stimpson – Born 12-30-09

We added a sweet little baby girl to our family this past week. 2kodyLisaKendraJustBornKendra Sue Stimpson was born

weighing 7 lbs, 8 ounces. We are so happy to have her and Lisa and baby are both doing well!

The nurse brought Kendra into the room with a cute little purple bow. Purple was my Grandma Stimpson’s favorite color so we like to think that maybe she was there along with our other grandparents looking down on her from Heaven.

We decided to name her Kendra Sue. We just liked the name Kendra and we wanted her middle name to mean something special so that took awhile to decide on one.

We finally decided on Sue! we thought the name Sue would be perfect for a middle name as it is her Grandmother’s (Lisa’s moms name) and also my sister Wendy’s middle name. Sue was also the name of the woman who took in my grandpa when he was little and took care of him so the middle name Sue is very special for many reasons. ;-)

Wendy Sue Murdock with Kendra Sue & Connor. Wendy & Aaron & their family drove all the way from IF to come for a visit despite the terribly slick roads. It was so fun to have them in town.

Here we have Grandma Stimpson with BIG BROTHER TRACE meeting his baby sister for the first time! People said that everything changes when you have a second child and it sure is true! ;-)

My mom & Dad also made the drive up from Idaho Falls which was excellent! We are so thankful for all the support we have from such great family!

We want to thank Sarah & Shawn for helping us with Trace during the past few days! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Here is Uncle Andre holding baby Kendra. Meanwhile, I still remember holding baby Andre! Wow! Can’t believe he is so big already!

GDuncanKendra

Grandpa Duncan holding baby Kendra. While he was here, he introduced me my new favorite taco place “Chronic Tacos” in Meridian. He brought Lisa and I delicious shrimp tacos from there and now we are hooked! Yum!

Trace in his cool new babushka hat looked down at his baby sister. We are so thankful for our little family and that families can be together forever!

Christmas Eve snacks

Traceeatingapples

You don’t really see any snacks here because Trace ate them already!  He loves apples!   He has no idea but tonight Santa will find his little stocking and leave him a special surprise!

Tracegrineating

Everything that we have worth anything at all is thanks to Him whose birth we celebrate tomorrow. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Trace does NOT like Santa, but he loves the zoo!

001 I actually think we may have had more fun at the zoo than Trace this year. Boise was having a zoo day with Santa today and we wanted to get in on the fun. Santa was just a little too creepy for the little fellow!

TraceDadonGiraffe

There was a giant giraffe and Trace didn’t even bat an eye. Goingdowntheslide

He loved it… or at least I did.

MomTraceTiger

Trace dressed up as Tigger for Halloween this year so he got to see a real lion (not this one but an even more real lion). However, I think when you live with a Saint Bernard one year olds just aren’t that surprised to see cheetahs, lions, and tigers. At home they get their own personal furry beast.

TraceandLizard

Hello lizard!

Prairedogs

Hangin with the Praire Dawgs!

LisaonApe

I Jane, you Tarzan!

TraceinTikihut

Baby Tarzan in his hut.

TurtleKody

I thought I was pretty cool to be able to fit in the turtle shell…

Turtlebutt

Only later did I realize that my heads coming out of the turtles butt!

TracemeetsRino

Trace meet Rhino. Rhino, Trace.

TraceLisabytrees

If we weren’t all wearing jackets you might, JUST MIGHT think we were somewhere toasty warm!

Lisaandtrees

There were lots of bridges. I guess in the summer, you can pay a couple bucks and ride a raft around on the pond. How fun is that!

RealTiger

So that was our day at the zoo. Santa was a flop, but everything else was great!

1 month left until new pink bundle comes!

bigmouthsmiletraceLess than one more month and we will be having another little one! Its hard to believe it has already been well over a year since Trace was born.

We are anxiously awaiting the new little girl to come! P1020618 Big brother Trace is excited for her to come too! We are hoping that he will be a nice big brother and not grab her hair like he does with his cousin Landon.

Lisa

Trace at around three months old. He looks so little. Are we ready for this?

Its begining to look a lot like Christmas!

Last night, we decided to put up the Christmas Tree! We had no idea Trace would love it so much.

We put him to bed before we had the tree all together and were wondering how he would react in the morning when he saw it.

To our happy surprise, he not only smiled but he pointed at the tree again and again and laughed and danced to the Christmas music.

Here he is coming back from another close look at the tree.

And here he is again pointing at the tree as excited as can be.

He first just looked it over without touching it, but it didn't take long before he spotted an ornament to grab. ;-)

After several minutes he finally went to mom and happily smiled at the lights some more. Yay for Christmas!

In search of the Great Pumpkin!

We took a trip to Linder Farms! This is our second year going and every year it just gets more and more fun going with Trace.
There was a petting zoo with baby goats, a 3 month old camel, some lamas, and an alpaka. It was so much fun! We also got some great pumpkins of course!

Sarah & Little Landon!

Me & Moe, a 3 month old camel!

Is that you Sue?
Kiera & Kade on the hay tractor ride with their friend. It pulls you down the patch and lets you off to pick out the best pumpkins.

The Birches and Mr. Scarecrow
Lisa and I started on opposite ends of the hay baile maze and raced to the opposit ends. You can see us both running as fast as we can here!

Bundle fell asleep but woke up when I put him into his seat.
